Bucks reportedly nearing four-year offer sheet for Matthew Dellavedova
Outback Jesus is about to take it to the bank.
According to a report by Zach Lowe of ESPN on Friday, Cavs point guard Matthew Dellavedova, a restricted free agent, is nearing an agreement with the Milwaukee Bucks on a four-year, $38 million offer sheet.

Dellavedova, 25, was a member of Cleveland’s championship team last season averaging 7.5 points per game and 4.4 assists per game in a bench role. While he first made a name for himself in the league with his tenacious (and sometimes dirty) on-ball defense, Dellavedova has developed into a more well-rounded backup point guard by improving his handling in pick-and-roll sets and his three-point shot (41.0 percent from deep in 2015-16).
The Bucks just lost Jerryd Bayless to the Philadelphia 76ers and might benefit from signing a heady guard like Dellavedova to complement their second unit. Cavs general manager David Griffin has said, however, that the team wants to keep their core intact, so we’ll see if he considers Dellavedova, who played just 46 total minutes in Cleveland’s seven-game Finals series, to be one of those core guys.
Between this rich offer sheet and even a signature shoe deal incoming, everything’s definitely coming up Delly.
