Dennis Rodman now has two kids playing in the Washington D.C. area.

The NBA G League officially held their 2024 draft on Saturday. One notable selection was DJ Rodman, the son of the Basketball Hall of Famer Dennis, going to the Capital City Go-Go in the second round (No. 43 overall).

DJ, 23, is a 6-foot-6 forward who spent four seasons at Washington State before transferring over to USC last season for his final year of eligibility. He averaged 8.4 points and 5.0 rebounds in 27.5 minutes per game as a starter for the Trojans.

The Go-Go are the G League affiliate of the Washington Wizards, meaning that DJ will be playing in D.C. That is particularly fitting since his younger sister Trinity Rodman is a professional soccer player (and also an Olympic gold medalist with the USWNT) who plays for the Washington Spirit of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

DJ, the son of the two-time Defensive Player of the Year Dennis and ex-wife Michelle Moyer, had a few decent highlights in college. Now DJ is one step closer to the NBA and will get to try his luck in the G League for the Go-Go.
