On Wednesday, we found out the Dwyane Wade era in Miami is over after the franchise’s greatest player agreed to sign with the Bulls. In the wake of the news, the Heat are going to sell Wade merchandise at a discounted price, with the amount having significant meaning.
Since being drafted in 2003, Wade has spent the past 13 seasons as a member of the Heat. To coincide with the number of years he called American Airlines Arena home, the Heat have announced all Dwyane Wade merchandise will be sold for $13 at Heat store locations.

In addition to the sale, the team will commemorate Wade throughout the day on July 8. Heat social media accounts will display videos and photos of the three-time NBA champion. There will be full page ads in local newspapers. And, the marquee on American Airlines Arena will show images of Wade.
Wade leaves the Heat as the franchise leader in many meaningful categories, including games (855), field goals made (7,325), assists (4,944), steals (1,414), points (20,221).
