Jabari Parker wasn’t pleased with the Chicago Bulls’ inability to adjust to a different game plan by the Charlotte Hornets.
On Wednesday, the Bulls beat the Hornets 112-110 in Chicago. On Friday, the two teams met again, this time in Charlotte. This time, the result was a 135-106 victory by the Hornets.
After Friday’s game, Jabari Parker mentioned a poor effort by the Bulls as part of the reason for the loss. He also noted an adjustment the Hornets made that the Bulls did not have an answer for. Parker was clear in not placing blame on the coaching staff.

JParker on poor effort “Yeah, but I really felt like we didn’t adjust. They did a totally different thing [from Wednesday]. Instead of setting a single-side pick-and-roll they set a double-drag, and we couldn’t guard it. We didn’t have a scheme for it, so that kind of buried us."

When asked what do you mean no scheme for it – is that defensive coaching, preparation … Parker quickly said, “Nah, don’t set me up like that.’’

Beating a team twice in one week is a difficult task. The Hornets apparently found something from studying Wednesday’s game that they felt they could exploit on Friday. It sounds like it worked against the Bulls, according to Parker.
