Joel Embiid wasted little time shutting down comparisons between himself and Deandre Ayton.
Ayton was selected No. 1 overall by the Phoenix Suns during Thursday’s NBA Draft. Leading up to the draft, Ayton had been compared to Joel Embiid because of his big personality. Embiid took to his Twitter account and reminded us not only does he have a magnetic personality, but he also plays defense.

Ayton has been an NBA player for only a few hours and he’s already in the crosshairs of Joel Embiid. That’s not a good start considering that Embiid is a social media MVP. Welcome to the NBA, Deandre Ayton.
