The Sacramento Kings look ready to host the NBA’s hottest fire sale of the summer season.
According to a report by Marc Stein of ESPN on Friday, the Kings have made Kosta Koufos and Ben McLemore available via trade along with Rudy Gay, who has previously been reported to be on the block.

The Kings have a mob of bodies in their frontcourt after drafting Georgios Papagiannis and Skal Labissiere last month to go along with Willie Cauley-Stein and DeMarcus Cousins, and it looks like Koufos may have lost the game of musical chairs. McLemore, meanwhile, has become expendable after Sacramento acquired five new wing players in recent days, adding veterans Arron Afflalo and Matt Barnes in free agency, drafting Malachi Richardson and Isaiah Cousins, and trading for Bogdan Bogdanovic.

Both the 27-year-old Koufos, a nimble seven-footer on an inexpensive contract, and the 23-year-old McLemore, a former No. 2 overall pick with impressive athleticism and an improving three-point shot, hold a decent amount of allure. We’ll see if Sacramento can convince anybody to bite on either of them or on Gay.
