At least LeBron James has a good sense of humor about matters.
Asked before the Cavaliers’ final regular season game Wednesday who his league MVP is, James gave a great answer.
“Kevin Love,” he said with a smile, according to reporters.
James, of course, was making a joke of the whole controversy that arose last month when Love picked Russell Westbrook as league MVP over his teammate. A few days later reports emerged saying LeBron was frustrated with Love’s inability to fit in with the team.
While we credit James for having fun with the situation and cracking a good joke, this is quite obviously proof that Love’s opinion bothered him. You don’t give a sarcastic, trolling answer like that unless the matter really stuck with you.
