Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban finalized a trade for Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo on Thursday from the set of “The Colbert Report.”
Cuban and a number of other high-profile celebrities and sports people attended Stephen Colbert’s final show. Unlike most others, Cuban had to attend to some urgent business while he was sitting in the green room in New York.

Cuban shared some videos from the set and all the while he was wheeling, dealing and possibly turning the Mavericks into an NBA Finals favorite.
Cuban even took the time to thank the players who are being sent to Boston while he was still at the show.
Can say thank you enough to @bwright34 @CJC9BOSS and @jameernelson. Amazing people on the court and off.

If you’re surprised, you don’t know Cuban. Don’t you remember where he was when he signed Chandler Parsons to an offer sheet this past offseason? There’s a reason the Cubes is the man.
