Steve Kerr jabs at Lonzo Ball over shooting ability
Lonzo Ball has had two of the better games of his young career against the Golden State Warriors, and coach Steve Kerr couldn’t help but notice.
The Los Angeles Lakers’ rookie point guard has struggled to score in many spots this season, but in two games against the Warriors, he has scored 15 and 24 points in two games. Kerr couldn’t help but crack a joke about that after the Golden State win.
Lonzo Ball had 24 points and was 5-of-6 from deep: “He likes to shoot against us,” said Steve Kerr. “Apparently he can’t shoot against anybody else but he shoots against us.”

Despite the jokes, Kerr was quite complimentary of Ball’s talent.
Steve Kerr on Lonzo Ball: "I really like him. He’s a really good player. He generates a beautiful tempo and pace to the game and is unselfish."

So Ball isn’t quite Steph Curry, like his father says. On the other hand, something about the Warriors brings out the best in him.
