Amir Khan rips Floyd Mayweather on Twitter for being full of s—
Amir Khan is rightfully frustrated with Floyd Mayweather Jr., and he expressed his unhappiness with the undefeated champion in a tweet sent on Monday.
Khan’s frustration with Floyd stems from Mayweather’s decision to choose Marcos Maidana for his May opponent. Mayweather had been negotiating with Khan for months and seemed like a near certainty to get the fight. He even pulled out of a December fight with Devon Alexander because he didn’t want to jeopardize his big pay day with Floyd. But Floyd never signed the contract and instead chose to fight Maidana, who beat Adrien Broner in December.
Not only did Floyd string Khan along for months, but he also ran a bogus poll on his website where he promised he would let the fans decide his next opponent. The fans chose Khan over Maidana, but Floyd still opted to fight Maidana.
Khan’s tweet about Floyd being full of it came after Khan initially rolled with the punches. With Floyd choosing Maidana, Khan said he would fight Broner next and wanted Floyd after that.
@FloydMayweather, tell @AdrienBroner to fight me on your card and when I beat him, you fight me next!

Floyd responded and said he would give Khan a fight if Khan beat Broner, which he said wouldn’t happen.
I don't have an easy fight on May 3, 2014, so I can't over look @ChinoMaidana but @AmirKingKhan, if you and @AdrienBroner end up fighting…

Broner badly wanted a rematch with Maidana, but Floyd stole his fight. Khan and Broner may not be headed for a fight anyhow, because it sounds like Broner wants to drop down to 140, while Khan wants to move up to 147.
