Floyd Mayweather sits ringside for Manny Pacquiao fight
There was a special guest in the house for Manny Pacquiao’s fight against Jessie Vargas on Saturday who received more attention than others.
Yes, none other than Floyd Mayweather Jr. was sitting ringside for the fight, and he was all smiles:

Mayweather lives in Las Vegas, so it was an easy trip for him to go to the Thomas & Mack Center for the fight. But when asked why he was there, Mayweather told ESPN’s Dan Rafael it was for his daughter:
I just asked @FloydMayweather why he's here. Smiled, pointed to his daughter and said he was just taking her to the fight. #PacVargas @espn

Mayweather’s presence of course sparked talks of a potential rematch between the two. Those talks received even more credence after Pac-Man gave a special look to Floyd before the fight started:
Before the opening bell, Manny pumped his fist and smiled at Floyd. #PacVargas #boxing

Pacquiao lost to Mayweather in May, 2015 by unanimous decision. The fight sold more pay-per-view buys than any other in history, but it was viewed by most observers as a total bust. There was even a lawsuit by fans complaining that Pacquiao fought with a shoulder injury.
Pacquiao has been clamoring for a rematch since the moment he lost to Mayweather. Both have previously made claims that they were done fighting only to later return to the ring.
Even though Mayweather has said he is retired and that he won’t give Pacquiao a rematch, you can’t rule anything out.
