Larry Eustachy is not commenting on his job status amid an investigation by Colorado State University into his college basketball program.
Eustachy’s Rams lost to Wyoming 91-86 in double overtime on Wednesday night. After the game, he was asked whether he will remain the program’s coach through the end of the season. The Rams are now 10-14. Eustachy had no comment.
I just asked Larry Eustachy if he believes he'll remain the coach at Colorado State through the end of this season. He said he cannot comment on that.

Word emerged on Tuesday night that the school was investigating Eustachy’s behavior and the program. The school issued this statement Wednesday about the investigation:

Eustachy, 62, was also investigated during the 2013-14 season because of his behavior. He was alleged to have crossed a line in running a program built on fear and intimidation. The athletic director at the time recommended firing him, but he hung onto his job. Eustachy is known for leading Iowa State to the Elite Eight in 2000. He resigned from that job in 2003 after photos of him holding alcohol and kissing girls at a fraternity party surfaced.
Because his team is losing this season, it might be easier to fire Eustachy this time around.
