The Florida Gators were embarrassed on their home field on Saturday by a Vanderbilt team that had not won a game in Gainesville since 1945. The 34-17 loss was probably the lowest point of the season for Will Muschamp’s team, but freshman wide receiver Ahmad Fulwood did provide Florida fans with one incredible highlight in the fourth quarter.
Gators quarterback Tyler Murphy lofted a pass to the corner of the end zone that looked like it was going to be picked off by a Vanderbilt defender. Instead, the defensive back tipped the ball off his own foot and it popped into the air. Fulwood was somehow able to coral the ball with one hand and keep his feet in for the score.
Though the touchdown meant nothing, it was still one of the best plays you’ll see all year.
