Dick Vitale rips Arian Foster, compares him to prostitute
Houston Texans running back Arian Foster recently admitted that he received improper benefits during his college years at Tennessee, which is hardly a surprise given the state of collegiate athletics. Many players prior to Foster have taken money and others will continue to violate rules until a logical solution is formulated.
After seeing the footage of Foster in the upcoming EPIX documentary “School: The Price of College Sports,” ESPN broadcaster Dick Vitale sent out a tweet comparing Foster and others who take money to prostitutes.
@GreggDoyelCBS When they put their hand out like a prostitute & take it they don't say a word – moaning yrs later = SAD!

Vitale’s colleague Jay Bilas, who recently did a phenomenal job of exposing the NCAA for profiting off athletes’ names, would likely have a much different take.
I don’t think you can describe what Foster did in the documentary as “moaning.” He was simply telling the truth and shedding light onto a widespread issue. Comparing an athlete to a person who gets paid for sex seems a bit dramatic.
