A University of Houston cheerleader fell hard and may have suffered an injury after a pass thrown in Friday night’s game between her school and Washington State went out of bounds.
Houston had the ball for a second down play in the third quarter and attempted a pass near the sideline. Keith Corbin dove for the D’Eriq King pass and was unable to catch it. ESPN sideline reporter Paul Carcaterra backed up to avoid being hit and bumped into a Houston cheerleader who was holding up another cheerleader in a stunt. After being hit, the cheerleader at the base lost his balance and dropped his flyer, who fell to the ground.
Another look, hope she's ok https://t.co/pGazpt4txb pic.twitter.com/HN1ihZpSW0

It’s unclear whether the woman suffered an injury. Just two weeks ago a dancer on a sideline was hit with a ball and suffered a broken nose.
We’ve seen that being on the sideline for a football game can be dangerous.
UPDATE: Carcaterra tells us the cheerleader said she was OK.
