Jim Harbaugh’s Grandiose Satellite Camp Expedition is well and truly underway, and the NCAA is watching closely.
Harbaugh held a satellite camp on Saturday in Tampa, Florida along with USF, and NCAA compliance officers were on hand to ensure that no funny business was taking place. That apparently included Harbaugh signing autographs.

It’s not clear who Harbaugh was signing for – potential recruits? Fans? The former would be more problematic than the latter, but the NCAA probably isn’t totally comfortable with either, which is kind of absurd.
Harbaugh will troll the NCAA over satellite camps and the rules surrounding them every chance he gets, given that they tried to ban them earlier in the offseason. He’ll also go after any coach who dares criticize the practice. When everything Harbaugh does is bringing Michigan publicity and drawing eyes to him and his program, what reason does he have not to?
