Lane Kiffin calls out the rat poison facing Ole Miss

Lane Kiffin learned a big lesson about rat poison during his time under Nick Saban at Alabama. Now he calls it out when he sees it at Ole Miss.

An X account posted a list of what they regarded as the 10 “hottest programs” in college football right now. They listed Ole Miss as the No. 1 team. Kiffin responded with the rat poison emojis.

Ole Miss has been cleaning up in the transfer portal this month.

While Kiffin is no doubt pleased that his Rebels have had success attracting players in the transfer portal, he does not want that praise and the high expectations to affect him or his team. He’s trying to avoid having his players believe the great headlines about them.

Ole Miss is 10-2 and getting prepared for its Peach Bowl game against Penn State. This is the second 10-win season Kiffin has delivered since becoming Ole Miss’ head coach prior to the 2020 season.
