Texas DB retweets Texas A&M transfer suggestion at halftime
The Texas Longhorns were thrashed 50-7 by TCU on Saturday. To make matters worse, one of their own players apparently gave thought to transferring at halftime.
Freshman defensive back Kris Boyd logged onto Twitter during halftime with his team down 37-0, having given up 30 of those points in the first quarter alone. He decided that this was a fitting time to retweet a Texas A&M fan telling him that he and teammate Malik Jefferson should transfer to the Aggies.
Whenever ya'll are ready to transfer… We're ready. #Gig'em @Official_MalikJ @kris23db

Boyd chose Texas over A&M, according to Dr. Saturday’s Sam Cooper, but it seems he may be regretting that decision. There’s no way he didn’t know what he was retweeting, and Charlie Strong will not be happy that one of his better recruits is either casting his eyes elsewhere already or simply thought this was funny. It’s just another symptom of the malaise that has fallen over Texas football, as they fell to 1-4 after the loss today. Even before that loss, TCU coach Gary Patterson was openly disrespecting the Longhorns – it seems with good reason.
