Texas QB Shane Buechele to undergo hip surgery
Texas Longhorns quarterback Shane Buechele is set to undergo hip surgery on Thursday, the program announced Wednesday.
Buechele was in and out of the Longhorns’ lineup throughout the season last year as he battled multiple injuries. The sophomore played in nine games, but he got hurt in the team’s bowl game win over Missouri on Dec. 27.
His surgery will be to repair a torn adductor muscle.
