Todd Graham bought Bret Michaels’ Scottsdale mansion

Todd Graham has enjoyed success in his first two seasons at Arizona State, so the Sun Devils head coach apparently felt comfortable enough to take the risky step of buying a home in his new area. The interesting part here isn’t that Graham bought a home, it’s from whom he bought it.

According to The Arizona Republic, Graham, who has gone 18-9 over two seasons at ASU, purchased Bret Michaels’ Scottsdale mansion.

From The Republic:

Michael Todd Graham and his wife, Penni Graham, bought a 5,794-square-foot house with pool built in 2004 on the northern edge of the Country Club at DC Ranch in Scottsdale. Todd Graham is head football coach at Arizona State University. The house was sold by Margaret and Staci Robley, as trustees of a trust for Bret Michaels in Woodland Hills, Calif. Michaels gained fame as the lead vocalist of the glam metal band Poison. He has several solo albums.

Well, I think the most notable part of this story isn’t just that Graham bought Michaels’ house, but that his full name is Michael Todd Graham. Who knew?

Seriously though, how can you beat living in the same house that Michaels used to live in? It’s probably worth paying $2.4 million just to be able to tell all your friends that. Plus, once you go Poison, every Rose Bowl has a thorn; the Fiesta Bowl is much better.
