49ers long snapper trolled DK Metcalf in sign language after game
DK Metcalf really got hoisted by his own petard on Sunday.
The Seattle Seahawks receiver Metcalf had another hot-headed moment during his team’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers. After Seahawks QB Drew Lock threw a game-ending interception to seal the team’s fourth straight defeat, Metcalf attempted a dirty tackle on 49ers linebacker Fred Warner and got ejected after an ensuing scuffle (see the video here).
In the locker room after the game, 49ers long snapper Taybor Pepper decided to hit Metcalf with a very clever troll. Pepper used American Sign Language (ASL) in a viral video to deliver a well-thought-out message.
“14 f–ked around and found out,” Pepper signed to the camera, referencing Metcalf’s jersey number. Take a look.

The former All-Pro Metcalf made headlines a few weeks ago for revealing that he had learned sign language to talk trash to his opponents. But on Sunday, Pepper threw that right back in Metcalf’s face.
Pepper, who has been the long snapper for the 49ers since the 2020 season, is quickly becoming one of the top personalities in football. Earlier this year, he already went viral for a tremendous video announcing a decision on his NFL future.
