Antonio Brown shoots down Brandon Marshall car bet
Antonio Marshall seems to have shot down Brandon Marshall’s car bet, claiming that the Jets receiver doesn’t even have a Porsche.
As you may recall, Marshall had challenged Brown to a bet on who would get the most receiving yards in 2016, with the winner receiving the loser’s car. Brown was not having that in an appearance on ESPN First Take on Wednesday.
“First off, Brandon Marshall don’t own a Porsche; that Porsche was actually a Jets car,” Brown said, via ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. “Tell Brandon to call me when he’s for real. Maybe he could buy my fans dinner every end of the day that starts with a Y.”
Porsche, it should be noted, is a sponsor of the Jets. Brown is arguing that they’re just letting Marshall use it.
Marshall had seemingly been serious about making the bet a reality. Brown thinks he’s full of it. The rest of us will be left to track the receiving yards.
