Ben Roethlisberger reportedly set to play despite elbow injury

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is a go for Sunday, according to reports.

Roethlisberger did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday thanks to an elbow injury, but he returned Friday and, as expected, will suit up Sunday.

In case there were any doubts, Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger will play tomorrow at home against the Chiefs per sources.

Roethlisberger’s status never seemed truly in doubt. The quarterback has a reputation as being one of the league’s tougher players and expectations were always that he’d suit up when it came down to it. It’s worth keeping an eye on him during the game to see how he looks, though the injury has been described as a minor one.

The Steelers definitely needed Roethlisberger, as they will once again be without another key player on offense.
