Ben Roethlisberger misses practice again with elbow injury
A number of teams are dealing with noteworthy injuries with Week 1 of the NFL season in the books, and Ben Roethlisberger is among the players who are worth monitoring heading in Sunday’s action.
After missing practice on Wednesday to rest what is being called a minor elbow injury, Roethlisberger sat out once again on Thursday.
Josh Dobbs confirmed that he took the first-team quarterback snaps with the Steelers today as Ben Roethlisberger continued to be sidelined with an elbow injury.

Roethlisberger struggled in a tie against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, completing 23-of-41 passes for 335 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. It’s unclear if the elbow issue had anything to do with some of his inaccurate throws. He has played through a number of injuries throughout his career, so it seems unlikely that he will miss Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
