Colts rule out standout player for Week 10
The Indianapolis Colts will be without a key member of their offense for their Week 10 game against the Buffalo Bills.
Colts coach Shane Steichen said Friday that wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. has been ruled out for Sunday’s game due to a back injury. The injury has been an issue for several weeks, but Pittman has been trying to play through it.

To understand the extent of Pittman’s injury, one has to go back a month, when it was suggested his back problem could land him on injured reserve. Not only did that not happen, but Pittman has somehow been playing through it. The injury has had a clear impact on his production, however, as he has just one reception over each of the last two weeks.
It is unclear if the Colts plan to have Pittman sit out one game, or if this may prove to be a more extended absence. Either way, they will be shorthanded for a big game against Buffalo.
