Dak Prescott says his relationship with Dez Bryant is ‘great’
Dez Bryant made it clear this week that he is frustrated with the Dallas Cowboys, and some wondered if his comments indicated some of that frustration stems from the way Dak Prescott has played. Prescott seems confident that is not the case.
When asked on Thursday about his relationship with Bryant, Prescott said the two are “true friends” regardless of any struggles the team has had.
Dak Prescott: "Me and Dez are great. Frustration on the field, off the field, it's not going to matter. We're true friends. Whether we do hit a bad spot or not, we're good enough friends we'll be able to get around it. He's got all my respect on and off the field."

Bryant indicated on Wednesday that he believes the Cowboys’ offensive scheme has been an issue. Some of what he said seemed like a veiled shot at Prescott, and it’s fair to wonder if he thinks the second-year QB is underperforming given how successful Bryant was when Tony Romo was still the starter in Dallas.
While Bryant said he wants to remain with the Cowboys this offseason, it’s clear he would not be open to taking a pay cut. Prescott would hate to see the team explore the possibility of moving on from Dez.
Dak Prescott: "To me, Dez Bryant is a Dallas Cowboy and should always be a Dallas Cowboy."

Prescott said prior to the season that his chemistry with Bryant has improved, but the results tell a different story. Bryant has caught just 66 passes for 814 yards and six touchdowns despite appearing in all 15 games.
