Deshaun Watson carted off after non-contact leg injury
Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered what appeared to be a serious injury during Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland, Ohio.
Watson took a snap late in the first half and looked like he was going to take off on a designed quarterback run. He instead lost his footing and immediately grabbed at his right calf.

Watson appeared to be in significant pain as trainers examined him. He wiped tears from his eyes as he was carted off the field:

While it is only speculation, the belief is that Watson suffered a torn Achilles.
Watson missed most of the 2023 season with a shoulder injury. He had been off to a historically bad start this year, but he played well on Sunday prior to suffering the injury. Watson went 15/17 for 128 yards before he exited against Cincinnati.
