Dexter McCluster out for year after breaking arm in home accident
The San Diego Chargers keep finding new and creative ways to get injured this season, but this one may truly take the cake.
According to a report by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network on Saturday, the Chargers have placed running back Dexter McCluster on the non-football injury list, ending his season. McCluster is said to have broken his forearm in an accident at home.

The 28-year-old McCluster signed with the Chargers in September and was mostly being used as a return specialist. He now becomes the third San Diego running back to suffer a season-ending injury in the last few months, joining Danny Woodhead and Branden Oliver.
Perhaps more details will emerge in the next few days about the exact nature of McCluster’s home accident. But at least this fellow veteran back can empathize with him for now.
