Earl Thomas wants NFL to allow players to express creativity without fines
While the NFL is a money making machine and immensely popular among fans, it has also drawn the ire of many for curtailing the ability of its players to express themselves creatively. This isn’t just a sentiment among fans, but players as well.
On Sunday, Earl Thomas took to his Twitter account to share his thoughts on the subject, while commending the NBA during the process.
The NFL should take notes from the NBA. Allow us to express our creativity without fining us.Celebrate our players while we R still living.

The league has handed out fines with regularity in recent years for celebrations of various sorts. Whether it’s Von Miller’s sack dance or Antonio Brown’s goal post celebration, the NFL has quickly gained the reputation as being the “No Fun League” for having players cough up money for something often seen as fun and entertaining.
Thomas certainly isn’t the first to have a gripe with the NFL on this matter. And, he certainly won’t be the last. However, the moans are getting louder and more frequent. Unfortunately, the league hasn’t changed its stance and it doesn’t look like it will anytime soon. As a result, the number of players with this mindset will continue to increase.
