Antonio Brown has been torn apart on social media this offseason over the distractions he has created for the Oakland Raiders, and the criticism has even extended to those who have nothing to do with the star wide receiver’s antics.
For obvious reasons, former NFL wide receiver Antonio Bryant had had to deal with nasty Brown-related tweets for weeks. He had to remind people again that they had “the wrong AB” after reports surfaced on Thursday that Brown will be suspended.
My mentions and DMs right now
Once again you got the wrong AB!!

Bryant, who last played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was on the offseason roster with the Seattle Seahawks in 2012, also seemed to defend Brown by ridiculing those who are saying things on Twitter they would never say to his face.
“People say the wildest s— behind a keyboard they wouldn’t dare say to your face…,” Bryant wrote in another tweet. “Keep. It. Moving.”
Brown and Bryant both have AB as their profile name, and their handles are @AB84 and @ab89. Both also have verified accounts, so some Raiders fans who are seeing red probably don’t even take a second to check which AB they are tweeting at. In a case of mistaken identity, you never want to be confused for the guy who has essentially bragged about all the issues he has caused for his team leading up to the season.
