Even though Olsen will be 35 in March, he still has interest in continuing his playing career, his agent told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
After Greg Olsen and the Panthers mutually agreed to part ways today, agent Drew Rosenhaus said his TE client “is still interested in playing and I will be in communication with other teams after the Super Bowl.”

Olsen may also consider a career in the media. A report this week said he had a job in TV if he wanted it.
Olsen and the Panthers parting ways is no surprise. The new owner is remaking the team. He got rid of Ron Rivera and has new coordinators; Luke Kuechly retired; Cam Newton could be traded; and now Olsen won’t be part of the team.
Olsen parting ways with the Panthers is no surprise based on his comments at the end of the season.
