Report: Lavonte David will miss at least a month with ankle injury
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers looked lost on defense in a 34-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3, and things could get even worse going forward without one of their most important defensive players.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, an MRI revealed that linebacker Lavonte David suffered a high ankle sprain on Sunday. He is expected to miss at least four games.
#Bucs star LB Lavonte David was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain following his MRI, source said. Expected to miss about a month or more.

David, a former second-round pick out of Nebraska, has been one of the best inside linebackers in football for several seasons. His production has been down a bit in recent years, but he has only missed two games in his five-plus seasons in the NFL. Replacing his production will not be easy for the Bucs.
