LeSean McCoy responds to disturbing domestic violence allegations

LeSean McCoy was accused of domestic violence by way of an incredibly disturbing social media post on Tuesday, and the Buffalo Bills star says the allegations against him are untrue.

Shortly after a woman shared a photo on Instagram that claimed to show graphic injuries McCoy inflicted on his girlfriend, McCoy released a statement saying the accusations are “completely false.”

A post shared by Lesean Mccoy (@shadymccoy) on

“For the record, the totally baseless and offensive claims made against me today on social media are completely false,” McCoy wrote. “Further more, I have not had any direct contact with any of the people involved in months.”

The woman who shared the photo is apparently a friend of McCoy’s longtime girlfriend Delicia Cordon, though McCoy’s post seems to indicate he is claiming the two are no longer together. Cordon was shown bruised and bloody in the photo, and the accompanying description also accused McCoy of beating his son and a dog as well as using steroids.

McCoy has had issues with Cordon in the past, as she publicly accused him of cheating on her roughly a year ago. The Bills say they are looking into Tuesday’s allegations.
