Marlon Mack suffered fractured hand, will not play Week 12
The Indianapolis Colts made a statement in a big divisional game on Sunday, but their blowout win over the Jacksonville Jaguars came with a cost.
Star running back Marlon Mack left the game early in the second half with a hand injury, and tests have determined he suffered a fractured right hand. He will visit with specialists to determine if he’ll need surgery, but he is not expected to play in Indy’s next game against the Houston Texans on Thursday night.
#Colts RB Marlon Mack suffered a right hand fracture during today’s game, source said, but the severity will be determined after seeing specialists early this week. He almost certainly won’t play Thursday, but it’s up in the air beyond that.

Mack was having a huge day before he got hurt, as he had already racked up more than 100 yards and scored a touchdown on an incredible run in the first half. The former fourth-round pick has 735 yards rushing this season and is averaging 4.2 yards per carry. He has been a huge part of the Colts’ offense, which has been without TY Hilton for the past few weeks as well.
Hopefully Mack is able to play down the stretch and the injury isn’t season-ending.
