Matt Schaub rips Ndamukong Suh, says he is not Houston Texan-worthy

Matt Schaub offered “no comment” on Thursday when asked about Ndamukong Suh kicking him in the groin during the Houston Texans’ win over the Detroit Lions. During an interview with “In the Loop with Nick Wright and John Lopez” on SportsRadio 610 in Houston on Monday, he was not quite as tight-lipped.

Suh came up in conversation and one of the hosts asked Schaub if he would ever want him as a teammate.

“No,” the Texans quarterback replied according to ESPN.com. “You don’t want a player like that. The stuff that he stands for and the type of player he is, that’s not Houston Texan-worthy. That’s not what we’re about as a football team, as individuals, collectively as a group, we’re not that type of person.”

If you were wondering if Schaub thought the kick was intentional, you now have your answer. On Sunday, an NFL official reportedly told ESPN that Suh will “not be getting the benefit of the doubt” when representatives from the league get together for their weekly meeting on Monday. NFL executive vice president of football operations Ray Anderson also said that no form of discipline can be ruled out when dealing with a player who has Suh’s history.

What history? Last Thanksgiving, Suh blatantly stomped on a Packers player and was given a two-game suspension because of it. Suh was recently voted the least-liked player in the NFL for a reason, and his cheap shots on Thanksgiving in back-to-back years remind us why. I highly doubt Schaub is the only player in the league who would not want the big defensive lineman as a teammate.
