Mike Pouncey out at least three months after hip surgery
Miami Dolphins center and offensive line anchor Mike Pouncey is expected to be out at least three months after undergoing hip surgery, according to a report.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news about Pouncey’s surgery and says the injury occurred during OTAs.
Pro Football Talk says the tear of the labrum in Pouncey’s hip is significant, meaning the 3-month timeline is optimistic.
Losing Pouncey thins the Dolphins out on the offensive line and means they will likely have five new faces starting in Week 1. Between this and Knowshon Moreno having his knee scoped, it hasn’t been a good month for the Dolphins.
