Morgan Moses completely missed his assignment on a passing play early in Monday night’s game between the Redskins and Seahawks. Moses was looking up field in case Bobby Wagner came on a blitz. During the time he was looking in front of him, Cliff Avril blew past him around the edge and leveled Kirk Cousins, who at least was able to get rid of the ball instead of taking a sack.
Look at this — three Washington linemen all facing the same direction, forgetting about Avril on the outside:
