Rob Gronkowski says he is ‘feeling good’
Rob Gronkowski says he is “feeling good” as he rehabs from back surgery that ended his season.
Gronk suffered a punctured lung against the Seahawks, and then two weeks later he injured his back against the New York Jets. Gronkowski underwent surgery on his back earlier this month and was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
The operation was the third on Gronkowski’s back, but he is optimistic about returning.

Gronk had serious back problems in college that led to him dropping in the NFL Draft, allowing the Pats to swoop him up. Despite the history of back problems, Gronk has no plans of retiring and the Patriots have no intention of trading him.
The All-Pro tight end, who is signed through 2019, had 25 catches for 540 yards and three touchdowns in eight games this season before being placed on IR.
