Ryan Fitzpatrick officially named Dolphins’ Week 1 QB
It’s officially FitzMagic time in Miami.
The Dolphins on Thursday announced Ryan Fitzpatrick as their Week 1 starting quarterback.

Fitzpatrick was listed as the starter on the Dolphins’ first depth chart released earlier this month. First-year head coach Brian Flores has preached patience with 2018 first-round pick Josh Rosen, indicating the youngster was likely to open up the season as a backup.
Though Fitzpatrick will begin as the starter, it probably will not take too long before Rosen sees action.
