Tony Romo hit hard on sack, aggravates back injury (Video)
Tony Romo was hit hard on a sack in the third quarter against the Washington Redskins Monday night and was taken to the locker room for examination.
ESPN’s Mike Tirico said Romo hurt his back on the play, which makes sense because it looked like he caught a knee from Keenan Robinson in the back:
Recall that Romo spent the offseason recovering from back surgery and still takes days off during the practice week to rest his back. This could be bad news for Dallas — Brandon Weeden is the team’s backup, and the difference between him and Romo is vast.
