Report: Tua Tagovailoa falling on some teams’ draft boards
Some teams have growing concerns about Tua Tagovailoa as an NFL prospect, and it’s not because of his recent injury.
According to Matt Miller of Bleacher Report, multiple teams are less enthused by Tagovailoa. One team has dropped him to the third quarterback on their draft board, and another has moved him down to fourth.
Miller says this is not because of Tagovailoa’s hip injury. Instead, some teams see him as part of a system at Alabama, bolstered by the offensive line and scheme.

It only takes one team to disagree with this assessment, and there are certainly some who still rate Tagovailoa behind only Joe Burrow. It’s interesting to hear that there are some teams who clearly disagree with what was thought to be the consensus.
The signals about Tagovailoa’s health have been universally positive throughout the pre-draft process. It doesn’t seem to be reducing the uncertainty regarding where he will ultimately go, though.
