Report: Tyreek Hill will not face charges in child abuse case
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill will not face charges in an investigation over whether he abused his child.
According to Angie Ricono and Chris Oberholtz of KCTV 5, the police investigation into Hill is now closed, and he will not face any charges over his treatment of his son. Lack of cooperation was a significant issue in the case, with few close to the child willing to testify publicly.
Hill remains suspended by the Chiefs, and has been ever since the audio leak that also led to the case being re-opened.
The NFL is likely to continue investigating Hill to figure out what happened behind the scenes. Even without criminal charges being filed, the league itself can impose further discipline on the Chiefs receiver if they think it is warranted.
