Jaleel White tells bald sports writer to get some Rogaine for his head
Jaleel White, the man also known as Steve Urkel, provided us with one of the most bizarre, weird, and funny moments on Twitter Wednesday.
White is a big sports fan and regular attending sports events in the LA area (he has had courtside seats to UCLA basketball games for many years). White tweeted at New England Patriots tight end Jake Ballard on Wednesday to tell him that he was expecting a big year:
#lifehappens @TheJakeBallard It's becoming obvious to some you could be in for a monster year sir #notthatiplayfantasyoranything #first

USA Today NFL reporter Mike Garafolo, who used to cover the Giants for The Star-Ledger when Ballard was on the team, expressed his surprise to see White predicting big things for Ballard. As Jimmy points out in the comments, White likely was talking about Ballard because of the problems Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernadez are facing. Still, with Garafolo on this one — who would have expected Jaleel White to be tweeting about Jake Ballard of all people?!?
Here are the tweets:
Wait, what just happened here? RT @TheJakeBallard: “@jaleelwhite: @TheJakeBallard becoming obvious you could be in for a monster year sir"

6/19/13 3:47 pm: Jake Ballard retweets Steve Urkel telling him he'll have a big year. We've officially reached ridiculous offseason levels.

White didn’t appreciate Garafolo treating him like a novelty, so he came back with a jab:
I really don’t even know what to make of all this, except it’s pretty clear you don’t want to mess with White. That dude comes hard. I’m just hoping that writing about this story gets my swag up.
