Dateline Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin:
That was Gunter Schaldach’s Camaro going over the fence at the Grand-Am Rolex Series race Saturday at Road America. The other car in the crash belonged to Joe Foster who was taken to the hospital but later released. Want to know the craziest part? After the crash, Schaldach was fine.
“I am doing great,” Schadach said. “The car did its job; well, after the crash at least.”
How the heck is that possible? And how did the car clear the darn fance?
