I’ve never thought much of Eddy Curry on the court for a simple reason: he’s a 7-foot 300-pound monster who can’t grab more than 7 boards a game. Someone have to ‘splain me that one. Off the court, we started to get a taste of the lazy bum when the news was released that he owed the clothing store, Casual Male, $41,000. He’s never lived up to his hype, and now it’s starting to come out (if you believe this allegation) that not only is he not very good in the NBA, he’s also a bad dude. In possibly the first story of its kind, Eddy Curry is being sued for sexual harassment by a male chauffeur who claims Curry owes him money, mistreated him, and was anti-Semitic, for good measure. From the NY Post via Ballhype, some most-read details:
The stunning court papers claim Curry, a married father of three, repeatedly approached chauffeur David Kuchinsky “in the nude,” allegedly telling him, “Look at me, Dave, look” and “Come and touch it, Dave.”
Curry also made Kuchinsky perform “humiliating tasks outside the scope of his employment, such as cleaning up and removing dirty towels [Curry had ejaculated into] so that his wife would not see them,” the Manhattan federal court suit says.
Kuchinsky, who is straight and Jewish, also alleges racial discrimination, saying that Curry hurled slurs at him including “f—ing Jew,” “cracker,” “white slave,” “white devil” and “grandmaster of the KKK.”
It is worth noting that this Kuchinsky character is no saint — he has a criminal record and has served three years in prison for burglary. Could it be possible that he just made everything up like he’s Lester Burnham? Is he looking for a monster payoff like A-Moocha Brown Sanders who sued Isiah and the Knicks? Or is this story so wild that it couldn’t possibly be made up? The allegations and general premise are so off the wall I can’t help but chuckle. But what if Curry did nothing wrong and he’s only being caught up in a defamation case? A counter suit would be his only defense to save face now, and I’m guessing it’s already too late for that.
