A graphic displayed on the rundown of ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown” show before the Pittsburgh Steelers-Kansas City Chiefs game comically said “Roethlisberger drink and drunk” in what were two obvious typos that should have read “dink and dunk.”
We won’t know for certain if the phrases were written intentionally by some devious employee, or if they were just two typos, but they certainly were funny.
Host Chris Berman later apologized for the mistake, saying he wasn’t sure how it happened.
As for labeling Roethlisberger with “drink and drunk,” I can’t imagine where they would have gotten that idea from.
