The Buffalo Bills released their new training camp media policy on Tuesday, and let’s just say it’s a strict one.
Many of the demands are standard. Reporters are forbidden from tweeting or writing about trick plays and special packages. They have also been told to not speculate about injuries that occur during portions of practice that are not open to the public. It gets a lot more interesting after that.
As Tyler Dunne of the Buffalo News notes, the media is banned from mentioning when a receiver drops a pass or a quarterback throws an interception.

Media cannot report who is on the 1st team, 2nd team, who is "rushing the passer, dropped passes, INT's, QB completion percentage, etc."

In other words, not a word shall be tweeted about a player screwing up this summer. We have no idea how reporters can do their jobs under those circumstances.
For someone who loves to complain that the media is obsessed with Bill Belichick (here’s a great example of that), Rex Ryan sure sounds like he is trying to be a lot like the New England Patriots coach this offseason.
