And quite remarkably, it was for a good cause, not a bad one. The Saints QB made a visit to the Beaver County correctional facility to visit with inmates and provide some encouragement.

Brees spoke Friday to 124 inmates in the Beaver County residential treatment program. In a pair of one-hour sessions, Brees encouraged the inmates with reflections on the trials and tribulations of his life and career.

He also posed for pictures and signed some autographs for the inmates. Many of the people on-hand said that Brees’ visit proved to be quite motivational. Notice how you never hear anything bad about Drew Brees? That’s probably why. Class act. Imagine that, two NFL players doing some charity work in the same weekend! Unbelievable. One question though, why Utah? OK I’m done.
