Brandon Davies May Have Impregnated Jayci Stephen, Not His Girlfriend

The Brandon Davies saga is now beginning to come together. The BYU center was kicked off the team for a violation of the school’s honor code. The Salt Lake Tribune reported he admitted to having pre-marital sex, and we had heard he impregnated his girlfriend. Well, it looks like he did impregnate a girl … but it wasn’t his girlfriend.

While Davies reportedly is (was?) dating Danica Mendivil, a volleyball player at Arizona State, FratHouseSports says the girl he actually impregnated is Jayci Stephen, a student at Utah Valley University. FratHouseSports says they’ve been seeing each other for 2-3 months and are trying to handle things to the best of their ability.

If the report is accurate, we wish the two of them the best of luck as they try to make the most of a difficult and complicated situation. Hopefully Davies will be able to continue his college basketball career and hopefully everything will work out for the two of them. We’re awaiting confirmation on the story.

    If having sex before being married breaks the honor code. I cant imagine what they would think of cheating on your girlfriend and getting another chick impregnated. He might be banned from the state of Utah. He should just go play ball at ASU or somewhere in the SEC.
