The Golden Rule of all sports telecast contracts is that broadcast network time is worth more than cable time. Disney squandered its pull for Monday night games when it moved MNF off of ABC and on to ESPN. Agreed. Although, a lot of people have cable nowadays, the fact that NBC and FOX are more easily accessible has to get caught in the equation.
